It's time for me :x

Today, Tues 17th March 2009,I decided that I'll learn English by myself from now on. Everyday, I'll listen Special VOA, put in practice, and write an English entry. Because I'm not good at Eng, so I'll write and my friends (YOU are one of them ;)) ) will read and help me complete it ;;). I hope that you will help me. It's really meaningful for me :">.

I wonder which textbook I should learn :-?. I think my vocabulary is very poor, I pronounce so bably :-?, and I can't listen to English :((.

Try :D!

  3. 1.Listen to something. Not listen sth.
2.Word Choice: so I'll write and my friends will read and help me complete it ~> This is already "complete". But not "Correct" yet. Understand?
    Anyway, Nice try ;)
For general EL, "A Practical EL Grammar" (NOT EL Grammar in use) "Tactics for listening" and "Vocabulary in use" are suitable for beginner.
If u Want to take the IELTS exam, I strongly recommend 101 useful hints for IELTS, 202 Useful Exercises for IELTS, 404 Essential Tests For IELTS (All acedemic module), Insight into IELTS, Insight into IELTS Extra, Focus on IELTS Foundation, Check your Vocabulary for English for IELTS exam, Grammar for IELTS and 6 IELTS Cambridge Book. Writing skill is the most difficult in my opinion. U can't get high score for IELTS writing Task 1 if u study all by yourself :D for sure :D
Also consider: Ielts Practice test, Ielts test builder (these 2 are not difficult but really interesting) Step up into IELTS.
Pronounce words wrongly? "Pronounciation in use" may help. However, Listen to native speakers and imitate is the best way.
Got any trouble? Send me a message, always willing to help ;)
    Good luck, my friend! ;)
